With it disappearing and reappearing, it becomes odd.Īn extra feature that should be added is mini tabs. This will help work with projects for school and such. By having this environment with extra spaces (to replace actual desktop spaces) I won't have to go left or right to read what I need to do. With just those two changes, this app would be perfect. However, there are more optional changes if you'd like to gain a wider number of users.ĭifferent fonts, sound sets, colored text, etc. For example, the current version would be one theme.

Each theme would have different backgrounds and stuff. I think that the 3 most powerful things of this app are: I would highly recommend integrating this with the music and such, perhaps a changing theme as well.

I'm giving it a particularly high rating to balance out a 0.5 rating that seems to be grousing because of the purported lack of support. It works as advertised, providing a distraction-free and mellow writing environment. I guess one can call it pretentious or even hoaky, but it does provide a nice writing experience - as other reviewers have attested to.
OMMWRITER SOUNDTRACK TRIAL
The MU download appears to be the free trial version (Dana I) that the developer's site discusses this has about 40% of the features/bells and whistles of the pay-for version (Dana II). I think there are a few text editors that give similar distraction-free environments, there are also a few that provide typing sound effects, and certainly one can provide one's self ambient music, but this is a very convenient/non-hassle all-in-one package to do the same. I would think that for the extended/pay-for version of this application, it would be nice to be able to load one's own choice of backgrounds, music and typing sound effects. Think it would get a lot more buyers that way. I do heartily recommend to anyone remotely curious about it to try out the MU download version just to see if you like it.
